HireArt is helping a global leader in AI development hire Specialist Auditors - Law (Part-Time) to train generative artificial intelligence models in specialty domains.
We are looking for specialists who are experts in their fields who can review and audit complex and varied data to ensure the highest levels of accuracy/consistency are met. Auditors should have a very strong and comprehensive command of the subject matter, a strong attention to detail, and a desire to play a critical part in the development of the next generation of cutting edge technology. JD or PhD candidates, researchers, educators, and industry practitioners are highly encouraged to apply!
In this role, you will be assigned to evaluate work done by others that is being produced for specific, high-priority projects. You may work remotely from anywhere in the U.S., excluding California.
As an AI Specialist Auditor - Law, you will:

As an AI Specialist Auditor - Law, you will:
- Audit work produced for various STEM, business, or other specialty domain projects used to train generative AI models.
- Audit original and challenging prompts for an AI model to respond to.
- Audit edited responses that were produced by an AI model and edited by a person.
- Assess whether a piece of text produced by an AI model is factually accurate or not.
- This role requires flexibility in weekly hours. Candidates can expect to average around 20 hours per week, though workloads may vary. Some weeks may be as few as 5-10 hours, while others could reach up to 40 hours, depending on project needs.
- Attend 2-3 reoccurring weekly meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Legal Studies or Criminal Justice; Juris Doctor (JD) or Paralegal experience is strongly preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency in spotting writing errors and inconsistencies
- Strong legal research background
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency in spotting writing errors and inconsistencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred qualifications:
- Prior experience in legal consulting, legal research, or legal academia
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts
Commitment: This is a part-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. It is remote and open to U.S.-based candidates, excluding California.
