Job description
In this role, you will support the execution of customer orders by accurately picking, checking, and preparing items for shipment. The goal is to ensure error-free shipments with quick turnaround times and help maintain an efficient fulfillment process.
The ideal candidate will have experience in order picking or inventory management. We're looking for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable standing for long periods of time and handling repetitive tasks.
As a Seasonal Fulfillment Picker, you’ll:
- Accurately pick and organize customer orders
- Check orders for item accuracy before shipment
- Prepare and stage orders for timely shipping
- Support ad hoc projects such as gift boxing, tagging, inventory counts, or restocking returned items
Requirements
- Comfortable standing for long periods of time and using a tape gun
- Detail-oriented and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency
- Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Able to stay focused and motivated while completing repetitive tasks
- Proactive, organized, and an effective communicator
- Prior experience with order picking or inventory is preferred
- Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds
Commitment:This is a full-time, short-term (2-month) contract position staffed via HireArt. This position is onsite and will be available to candidates who are local to the New York, NY area.
