About the Role
As the Provider Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and executing Hive’s provider acquisition, engagement, and retention strategy. This role is critical to ensuring Hive Health maintains a robust, high-quality provider network aligned with our growth goals, benefit design, and member needs. You will oversee a team managing network growth, credentialing, compliance, support, and systems, while coordinating with other departments such as Finance, Adjudication, and Healthcare Services to deliver excellent outcomes for our members and providers.
This is a leadership position requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You will serve as Hive’s representative to providers and external partners, while driving internal alignment across teams.
Responsibilities
Own and deliver Hive’s provider partnerships strategy, ensuring alignment with service goals and growth targets
Build and strengthen provider relationships through acquisition, retention, and engagement initiatives
Lead contract negotiations, ensuring agreements are competitive, policy-aligned, and legally compliant
Manage and coach a team handling provider growth, credentialing, compliance, support, and systems
Monitor and report on network KPIs including coverage, satisfaction, and utilization performance
Resolve escalated provider issues, bottlenecks, and compliance concerns in coordination with internal teams
Drive continuous improvements in provider experience, operational efficiency, and network performance
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business, or a related field; advanced degree a plus
At least 2-3 years of experience in provider relations, healthcare network management, or operations leadership
Strong negotiation skills and experience managing provider contracts or partnerships
Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
Data-driven mindset with experience using systems, portals, or analytics to manage provider networks
Excellent communication skills for both internal stakeholders and external provider relations
